JOB POSITION: Backend Software Developer
LOCATION: Maia – Portugal

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend modules on Nonius’ software solutions;
• Middleware development, APIs and Web Services interfaces;
• Maintain and support existing solutions;

Requirements

• Engineering or computer science degree;
• PHP, JavaScript/HTML5, Mysql, MVC;
• Experience developing on backend/server side and related frameworks (Codeigniter, Laravel, etc.);
• Experience with GIT repositories and code deployment;
• Fluent written and spoken english.

Nice to have skills

• Technical understanding of the industries Nonius operates (Hospitality);
• Scripting languages under Linux environments (Bash, Perl, Python, etc.);
• Exposure to Linux environment admin and development tools;
• A good mix of creativity but also understand process based software development.
