Nonius is pleased to announce a new edition of its NONIUS.TV solution, now supporting HTML5 based TVs (LG Pro:Centric Smart and Samsung H-Browser Connected TVs). This addition to Nonius product portfolio was extremely well received in the market and will certainly fuel wider adoption of Nonius solutions in the overall Hospitality landscape while extending Nonius’ offering in HSIA, TV,Digital Signage, VoIP and Mobile Apps.
HTML5 based TV platforms allow for robust system development, great user experience and simplified installation and maintenance of in-room Nonius solutions. Being HTML5 brings an added advantage of simplifying integration, extending experience to the guest’s HTML5 – capable mobile device.
The HTML5 technology allowed for a simplified multiplatform development which Nonius has leveraged to release a multiscreen solution so, the Nonius applications now run on TV, tablets and smartphones. Integration with mobile devices recent features, like mirroring and content sharing, are also available with the most recent Samsung and LG TVs.

Like previous editions of NONIUS.TV, this one offers an extended feature set which can be customized according to the Hotel Profile. These Hotelier-friendly features include: HD Live TV (IP), revenue sharing and free to guest movies, free-to-guest music, radio (IP), guest directory, guest services, guest welcome and messaging from PMS, room service, flight info, news, maps, multilingual, bill on TV, express checkout and guest survey. New to this software edition is the multiscreen and room automation, control and setting the desired ambience (control over: curtains, temperature, lighting, sound and video).
