In 2012 Nonius strengthens its leadership in national and international markets

During the course of 2012, with the acquisition of Impresa DGSM, its main national competitor, and through the affirmation in international markets, Nonius has raised its client-base to over 500 sites including hotels, hospitals, cruise ships and other public spaces.

Nonius’ High-Speed Internet Access (HSIA) solution is now available in approximately 40,000 rooms while its IPTV solution is now available in more than 18,000 rooms. The company now counts in its client’s portfolio major international hotel chains such as Pullman, Sheraton, Corinthia, Pestana, Tivoli, Transamerica, Melia, Tiara, Eurostars and the market leader in river cruising – Uniworld.

Its technology solutions are present in over 20 countries with an emphasis on Portugal, Spain, The Netherlands, Angola, Mozambique, Cape Verde and Brazil, where Nonius has maintained a local presence for over 2 years.

In 2013 Nonius expects to continue this growth and consolidation strategy through greater product innovation and actioning new business processes to unlock markets. Most importantly, Nonius will maintain its customer-focused drive, meeting and exceeding its current standard of service.
